Brad Kam is the founder of Personality.fyi. Previously he co-founded Unstoppable Domains (Web3 identity, >3M users), Real.Photos (camera-verified marketing photography), and Talkable (referral marketing SaaS used by Tarte, L'Oréal, and hundreds of e-commerce brands).

Across these companies he has conducted more than 1,000 job interviews where the candidate also submitted their MBTI result. That dataset — informal but uncommon — is the empirical foundation for the career-fit and hiring guidance on Personality.fyi.

Why this site exists

Most personality-test sites fall into two buckets: horoscope-style flattery, or therapy-language hedging that refuses to make a real claim. Both are useless when you're actually trying to figure out what to do — what jobs to chase, who to date, how to deal with the colleague who keeps frustrating you. Personality.fyi is built to do the opposite: lead with the concrete answer, name strengths and shadow patterns by name, and refuse to pretend type doesn't predict anything.

The methodology is public. The test uses the Open Extended Jungian Type Scales (OEJTS), the public-domain MBTI alternative validated at r=0.62–0.81 against the official Myers-Briggs assessment. The career-fit guidance is calibrated to each type's cognitive function stack rather than generic descriptions.
